What Is #WelcomeBackMyChemicalRomance And Why Is It Trending?

Yesterday, a lot of My Chemical Romance fans were shook to their core when they logged on to Twitter to see the hashtag #WelcomeBackMyChemicalRomance.
Obviously, we had the same impulse and decided to investigate where the hashtag came from, what it is based on and how it appeared.

By now, you must’ve heard that the whole thing is a hoax, so if your hopes were up for a potential My Chemical Romance reunion, we’re sorry to tell you that it’s not happening.

My Chemical Romance’s official website was hacked yesterday (April 26th) and the hacker made a new blogpost.
This blogpost stated that the My Chemical Romance members would get back together this summer to work on a new album.

Unfortunately we didn’t get there fast enough to see the blog post before it got deleted again by the site admin. Google did alert viewers of the website of the fact that the website got compromised earlier that day.
