Slipknot Announce Documentary ‘Day Of The Gusano’

Following up to the cryptic teasers earlier this week, Slipknot have revealed that they will be releasing a documentary!

Anyone who enjoys listening to Slipknot knows that they are an extraordinary live band with more than just a few tricks up their sleeve, so this will be more than your typical live documentary. Carrying the title “Day of The Gusano”, it captures the band’s show at Knotfest in Mexico City.

On the website of the documentary it reads: “‘Day of The Gusano’ documents not only a historic Knotfest Mexico City performance from Slipknot, one of the most exciting live bands on the planet, but delves deeply into the lives of the band’s fans as well. Slipknot’s fans, better known as maggots, are essential to the band’s legacy. This highly anticipated show captures the chaos, excitement and community that has been cultivated over the past 20+ years.”

That sounds exciting, doesn’t it? Well you will be pleased to know that ‘Day of The Gusano’ will be shown in theaters all over the world. It premieres on September 6th. More information about a premiere near you can be found here.
