Sirenia Announce New Vocalist & New Album

Sirenia parted ways with their singer Ailyn in early July. However, they have found a new vocalist. This cooperation goes back 13 years, to the recordings of their second album ‘An elixir for existence’. She has been a part of the choir on all Sirenia´s albums since then. Please welcome Emmanuelle Zoldan as Sirenia’s new lead singer!

“Emmanuelle is musically educated at Aix en Provence and Marseille Conservatories (4 years) and specialized at C.N.I.P.A.L Professional School of opera (2 years). She also made a career singing at various operas in France for many years and has collaborated with several bands and projects. Emmanuelle can handle lots of different musical styles and various techniques in addition to classical and opera, and this has had a big influence on our new album. The album was finished recently and we can’t wait to share the music and our new sound with you. This is without doubt the most diverse Sirenia album to date, and this album marks a new beginning and new direction for the band in many ways.”

Sirenia´s 8th studio album is titled ‘Dim Days of Dolor’ with the release date scheduled for November 11. You can check out the track listing and the artwork made by Gyula Havancsák below.
