Rise Against Music Video Shoot Shut Down For Being “Anti-Government”

Rise Against are releasing a brand new record on June 9th titled ‘Wolves’.
A while back, the band released the first single off of this record, titled ‘The Violence’.
As many bands do, Rise Against had plans to shoot a music video for this single, but ran into some trouble in the process of making arrangements.

The director for this music video had the idea to shoot this particular video in a field filled with presidential busts. A permit for the shooting of this video was granted at first, but was retracted as a board of directors deemed the idea for the music video “anti-government”.
