Mike Shinoda Shares First Band Photo, Explains How Chester Joined The Band

Mike Shinoda takes you down memory lane with this latest Instagram photo, in which he shares the first photo the band took together. Mike Shinoda shares that the photo was taken in either 1997 or 1998 and Chester Bennington had just agreed to move from Arizona to L.A. for the band. They had only half a dozen of songs at this time and the band was called Xero at that point.
