Metallica Present Themselves With Platinum Record

At a recent performance in New York, Metallica welcomed some executives on stage from their label, Blackened Recordings. These executives came by to hand over the plaques for their latest record, “Hardwired… To Self-Destruct”, which went platinum in the US in April. What made this occasion even more memorable, though, is that the executives from the label were none other than the band themselves, so they effectively gave themselves this prize!

On top of that, Metallica have also released a second official video for “Now That We’re Dead”, this time a live video with footage from several places they visited on their current tour. You can check out the video below.
