Linkin Park Music Sales Increased By More Than 5.000% After Chester Bennington’s Passing

In the wake of Chester Bennington’s passing, Linkin Park’s sales in the U.S. alone have sky rocketed, according to data gathered by Nielsen Music. According to Nielsen Music, Linkin Park’s sales on July 20th in comparison to July 19th was increased with 5,332 percent.

The band’s latest record ‘One More Light’ sold over 6.000 copies on July 20th, while the amount of sales from this record was neglectable on the 19th of July.

All their albums combined were sold 21.000 times on July 20th. Their songs were legally downloaded over 90.000 times, while that was only 2.000 on the 19th of July.

Billboard stated that they anticipate Linkin Park to re-enter the Billboard 200 album chart with three albums: ‘Hybrid Theory, ‘Meteora’ and latest record ‘One More Light’.
