Green Day Gets A Serenade In Glasgow

Green Day unfortunately had to cancel their performance in Glasgow a couple of days ago, but this hasn’t stopped the fans from having a wonderful time with their music. What’s more, is the band have noticed this and are absolutely loving it!

A group of fans gathered outside of the hotel the band was staying in, they brought a guitar and lots of laughter, and started singing Green Day songs in the hopes that the band would notice. Part of the fan rendition of “American Idiot” was caught on video:

While these fans were gathered, singer Billie Joe Armstrong was just posting a video on Instagram to say how much he regretted not being able to play. He heard the fans outside singing “Still Breathing” and gave them a bit of a shoutout in the video.
