Five Finger Death Punch Play First Show Without Ivan Moody, Open Up About Legal Battle Delaying Upcoming Album

The band had announced earlier this week that Moody had to step off vocal duties due to his struggle with substance abuse and Bad Wolves frontman Tommy Vext would take over for the rest of the tour.
Now first footage has emerged of the band, fronted by Vext, playing the songs “Coming Down” and “The Bleeding” at Nova Rock:
Drummer Jeremy Spencer explains: “We have a new record. It’s been done for several months. And we’re tied up in a lawsuit with our label. So we can’t release it because we’re being sued for some reason which I don’t even really understand why. He’s [Jeff Kwatinetz, label owner] trying to jam us up so we can’t leave the label. But he’s going to lose and once we get that sorted out the record will come out.”
Despite said legal battle, Five Finger Death Punch will continue to write and record new music.
