Festival Gets Cancelled Due To Death Of Chris Cornell

The passing of Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell last night is taking its toll on the music scene. The band was supposed to play at Pointfest in St Louis this Saturday (May 20), which released the following statement:

​”It is with deep regret, due to the sudden passing of Chris Cornell of Soundgarden overnight, Pointfest on Saturday is cancelled.”

Among the bands that were supposed to be playing are also Stone Sour, Pierce The Veil and Biffy Clyro. 

If you were planning to attend the festival and ordered your ticket online through Ticketmaster or Live Nation, you will automatically get a full refund. As for tickets purchased at the box office of the venue, they need to be returned to the box office to get refunded.
