Ex-Asking Alexandria Frontman Denis Stoff Accused Of Live Lip Synching

In the brief period that Asking Alexandria was fronted by Denis Stoff, the band released a new record ‘The Black’ and toured the world relentlessly in order to promote both their new vocalist & the new record when it released. 

Current Asking Alexandria frontman Danny Worsnop recently spoke out about Denis Stoff in a recent interview with Lead Singer Syndrome (podcast from Shane Told, Silverstein).

In this interview, Danny Worsnop claimed that in a brief period, then frontman Denis Stoff used Worsnop’s old vocals and lip-synched over them.

Here’s what he said:

“The only weird thing was, and this was like, it was like almost illegal. He was lip syncing over my stuff for a minute. That obviously did not rub me or my lawyers the right way.”
“They jumped on it before I did. They were like, ‘Hey just so you know we sent him a cease and desist because he’s lip syncing over your stuff.’ I hadn’t seen them or heard them with him so I was just like, ‘Yeah, make sure he’s not using my stuff.’”

Asking Alexandria are currently on the road in Europe playing shows with The Word Alive and will later on join Parkway Drive on their headliner tour again through Europe!
