An Unreleased Green Day Song Was Discovered

A new, yet older, song by Green Day was recently uncovered by their fan community, the Green Day Authority. It was hidden on a bonus scene from their documentary ‘¡CUATRO!’ from 2013. It’s been named ‘That Just Happened’, after the segment of the documentary it was found in.

The song is an instrumental, and it seems like it was recorded around the same time as the three albums they released at the end of 2012. It also has a really nice vibe that is a lot like their other songs, but still stands out as unique, maybe because it was more of a jam session than a serious song they were planning.
