American Music Awards – What’s Happening?

We are so excited to see two of our favorite bands perform at the American Music Awards this year, which will be broadcast live from Microsoft Theatre, Los Angeles, on 20th November (8pm EST)!

Green Day performed at the AMAs in 2009 and are back to perform now in 2016.

UPDATE: Tonight they rocked it and performed Bang Bang from Revolution Radio!

Before the last chorus, Billie Joe chanted “No Trump, No KKK, No fascist USA!”.

It’ll be Twenty One Pilots‘ debut performance at the AMAs and we can’t wait to see what they bring to the stage.

Twenty One Pilots were nominated for three American Music Awards in 2016:

• Artist Of The Year
• Favorite Duo Or Group – Pop/Rock
• Favorite Artist – Alternative Rock

Twenty One Pilots were fortunate enough to be in the top 10 of the Artist Of The Year nominees, but did not make it through to the final 5.

The Suicide Squad album, featuring the Twenty One Pilots track, Heathens, is nominated for Top Soundtrack award.
